Ad-Hoc of the Director General

Welcome to the Ad Hoc Committee of RidgeMUNC III! In this committee, Delegates will be responsible for solving a surprise historical fiction crisis inspired by a topic we all hold near and dear to our hearts! Your task at hand is to jump into this committee headfirst with absolutely no idea on what its topic matter is about! Luckily for you, none of the other delegates will know anything either. You will receive both your background guide and your assigned character on the day of the conference. This committee will be filled with surprises, sudden crises, and plenty of betrayals. Are you up to the challenge?

Director General

Hi! I’m Jeremey Jacob, your chair for the Ad Hoc Crisis. I’m a senior at Marriotts Ridge and the President of Internal Affairs. Ever since my freshman year, Model United Nations has been one of my favorite extracurricular activities! Having been to several international / state conferences and running RidgeMUNC for the past three years, I will do my best to utilize my past experiences in chairing this committee. I am ecstatic to be your chair and watch everyone debate a solution!

Co-Chair

Hi! I’m Ethan Shaw, your co-chair for the Ad Hoc Committee. I’m a senior at Marriotts Ridge. I joined Model UN in my freshman year and loved how fun it was while still teaching speaking and debate skills. Conferences like CHSMUNC, NAIMUN, and RidgeMUNC have been some of the most memorable experiences of my high school years, and I hope today’s conference leaves you all with the same feeling. My favorite types of conferences are crises because they have little structure and offer endless opportunities for unconventional approaches.
