Hello Delegates! My name is Esther Woo and I am a Senior at Marriotts Ridge High School. I will be your Chair for this Fictional Crisis. I joined MRHS Model UN in my freshman year, and it was one of the best decisions I have ever made throughout my high school career. Model UN has taught me how to become a better argumentative speaker and allowed me to connect with people from all over the world. I have seen so many intriguing topics at Model UN conferences, which led to my interest in a fictional crisis revolving around horror movies. Especially with new horror movies coming out, we are very excited to see the direction in which you guys will drive this committee.

Hi Delegates! My name is Hope Han, and I am honored to serve as your Fictional Crisis co-chair! I am a junior at Marriotts Ridge High School and the Secretary for MRHS Model UN. I joined Model UN in my sophomore year and have enjoyed every step of the way since. Whether it be surviving a crisis committee that’s gone off the rails or seeing delegates passionately argue over the placement of a single comma in a resolution, I have loved the creativity and excitement that Model UN brings! As a big horror movie fan, I’m especially excited to see how you guys take on the roles of the characters and bring your own creativity, strategy, and chaos to the crisis! Good luck!
