Chair
Hi, my name is Arya Viswanathan Ram, and I am honored to serve as your chair for the Fictional Crisis! I’m a senior at Marriotts Ridge and the Vice-President of Internal Affairs for our club. I joined Model UN in my freshman year, and have learned so much and met many people along the way. While Model UN was intimidating at first, some of my best memories come from the many committees I have debated in, and I hope this one will be one of your favorites! I am excited to see how you all approach the crisis topics and I look forward to an amazing day of debate and diplomacy!
Co-Chair
Hi, my name is Avni Uniyal and I’m your co-chair for this Fictional Crisis. I’m a senior at Marriotts Ridge High School and have been a member of Model UN since my freshman year. I’ve had the wonderful opportunity to attend numerous conferences throughout my high school experience, all of which have helped me develop and strengthen countless important skills and I hope this conference can do the same for you. Having rewatched Avatar the Last Airbender hundreds of times, I’ve become a fervent fan and I can’t wait to see all of you bring the fictional world to life!
